Your data, under your control.
With an account, your cloud copy is encrypted on your phone before it uploads, with a key only you hold: we can't read it. On your phone, it's encrypted with your PIN. No ads and no selling your data.
- We don't ask for your bank credentials.
- It works offline and you can use it without an account, only on your phone.
- End-to-end encryption, on by default for new accounts (on Android, with the next app release): AES-GCM with 256-bit keys. Keep your recovery code: without it or your devices, nobody can open the copy, not even us.
- With a PIN: key derived with PBKDF2 (600,000 iterations) and AES-GCM encryption with 256-bit keys.
- If you use the AI Advisor, the data in each question is sent to the model so it can answer you, and you can see it beforehand.
It's the same mode as the app: what you choose here is kept when you open Monevia.

Try Monevia on Android before anyone else.
It's a test version: there may be bugs, so if you'd rather not enter your real data, use the sample data. What you tell us arrives in private, from Settings → Report a problem.
When you join, Google shares your email with the tester group; we don't use it for anything else.

What people ask most before trying Monevia.
What does “You can spend today” mean?
It is what your budget leaves you for today: what is left this month, minus the fixed payments still to come (rent, recurring bills and subscriptions), spread over the remaining days, minus what you have already spent today. It never goes above what you actually have in your accounts.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. Monevia never connects to your bank or asks for its credentials. You log expenses yourself in three taps or with a photo of the receipt and, in the Android app, from your bank’s or wallet’s payment notification.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use Monevia without an account and your data stays on your device. With an account it syncs between phone and computer and you keep it if you change phones.
Who can see my data?
With a PIN, your data is encrypted on the device; without one it is stored unencrypted. With an account, your cloud copy is end-to-end encrypted, on by default for new accounts, and you can turn it off. What you ask the AI Advisor does reach the model in readable form, and you can see beforehand what is sent.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Monevia is free and has no ads. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Can I take my data with me or delete it?
Yes. You can export everything or delete your account whenever you want from “Privacy and data”, in Settings.
